Mochi Dolci began as a charming space offering mochi donuts and bubble tea, located at 222 West 79th Street in the heart of New York City. Once home to a movie producer’s living room, circa 1850, the space has a rich history, housing everything from a pottery store to iconic restaurants like the famous Italian spot, 222, and the popular Greek eatery, Kefi.

Now, Mochi Dolci carries on this tradition of creativity and warmth with its enchanting atmosphere, while the backroom has transformed into the beloved 222speakeasy—an exclusive restaurant and venue hidden behind a secret door.

Mochi Donuts have a unique chewy texture that is similar to a soft pretzel but with the taste of a warm donut; Other than Nutella, our mochi donuts are frosted with real chocolate based flavors!

Made Fresh Daily

Our mochi donuts are made fresh on-site every day. We fry them in lard, a traditional, natural alternative to seed oils, for exceptional flavor and texture. Enjoy them best while they’re hot and freshly made.
